I Found Her!

Attention: Amelia Earhart, famous pilot, is alive!Elvis is not dead!
Abe Lincoln isn't either (and he shrunk over the years)
Today was the Famous American reports for the 3rd graders at Stonegate Elementary. Each student has to pick a famous American and read books, do a short report and then an oral presentation on that person. We had some awesome costumes as you can see. The kids stand up in front of the parents and students and give 5 clues. You are then supposed to raise your hand and ask, "Are you ___________?".

I thought Marin looked great. She actually looks a bit like Amelia- or maybe even more like Amy Adams playing Amelia in Night at the Museum 2! Anyway, it has been fun learning more about her life. Marin had fun today especially since she got to dress up for school. Here she is with her friend Sofia, who was Helen Keller.

Dad even came which was a special treat! He rarely gets to come to school events during the day since he needs to be at work.
