Cousins!!!
One of the best things of 2010 is that Adam and Marilee moved back to Southern California! I know they are still adjusting and they miss their friends in Colorado a lot, but we LOVE having them here!
This weekend Adam brought Annie down and she stayed with us all day Saturday and Sunday. She went with Aunt Laura and Uncle Kevin to see the girls in "The Errand" -a musical production we did at church. She spent the afternoon playing and reading with Marin. She loved the show so much that she decided to come back with us to the show in the evening- while Ben had a baseball game and Justin was umpiring a game at the same time- and she watched the show again.
The girls were so excited to have their cousin Annie to play and giggle with- they had tons of fun. Annie came to church with us the next day as well. After church Justin and Annie challenged Amber to a game of Harry Potter Scene-It. They actually beat her! No small miracle I tell you (Amber says she let them win:)). Then we all headed to the Christofferson's for Sunday dinner.
Grace is mostly bugging Avery now, but se can't wait until Avery is just a little bigger so they can play together too!
It is a bit of a drive to see each other, but it is so fun to be together. We stayed too late and by the time we got home and got the kids to bed it was 10 pm! Not good for a school night. They were all tired this morning, but they had so much fun being together that I know they all think it's worth it!
Hooray for cousins- and family of all kinds! I am super happy to get to see and talk to Adam and Marilee regularly too. I missed my brother when he was in Colorado. He was a cool little brother and he is an even neater grown up man.

Looks like so much fun! Avery and Grace look like they could be sisters! It looks like they have the same cute little nose. They are so adorable and Grace is getting so growd up! I'm glad they are closer to us too.
Yeah for cousins close by!
We're glad to be closer too! It's so fun to see eachother so often. Thanks for having Annie. She loved being ther and the show was just what she needed. Next time we need to have some of your kids come up and stay with us!
That is a lot of fun! : ( Sad for me who won't live near any of my siblings ever. Oh well. At least I'll get to be the Auntie to all my nieces and nephews when they come to the Y!!!!
