Heritage Park Seals

Ben has asked for the last few years to be on swim team.  This year since he didn't do All Star baseball, it was the perfect year to do the crazy swim team thing. Even better, Ben got to be with Max Swanson everyday at practice and the boys had tons of fun with all their gang during each Saturday swim meet.

One of the fun things that happened on swim team was Jason Lezak day.  Olympic medalist, Jason Lezak met the kids, autographed stuff and then talked to the team about swimming and the Olympics, etc.  The kids then got in the pool and he coached them.  He even raced one of the older swimmers.  It was a cool event.

Ben actually did really well and improved his times almost every week! Saturday mornings were long some weeks, but it was a fun way to spend the summer.
