6th Grade Promotion

Miss Hager's door

I had volunteered in spring of 2012 to be in charge of the Promotion Ceremony for our 6th graders the following year.  A big reason was that the teachers wanted someone they could rely on that wasn't too much "drama".  In the end there was TONS of drama about food, decor, etc from other parents.  I finally just handed all that to them and did the decor myself.  It turned out very nice and about half as much money as they wanted to spend.

Marin introduced Miss Hager (since she was the room rep).
Our favorite 6th grade teacher.  We LOVE her!

Best friends Nousha and Sofia happy to be promoted to 7th grade!

I am so proud of Marin.  She is kind, thoughtful, funny, creative and has worked so hard in school.  Things have not come as naturally easy to Marin in school as they did to Amber and Justin, but she has worked hard and been a great student.  I don't think she thinks she is smart, but she is!  She is also a HUGE example to others of how to behave in school as well as in life.  She thinks of others more than herself.  She has become a READER!  I never would have imagined that when she was a lower grader and I had to bribe her all the time just to let me read to her.  I can't believe how grown up and amazing she is!!
