Amber Turns 17!

Jamie "kidnapped" Amber and they went to have breakfast.  Later on a few friends came over and there was cake!  It was pretty low key as compared to last year's surprise party, chocolate fountain extravaganza!  I cannot believe that my baby is 17!  How did that happen?

She didn't get her driver's license until the summer because she was too busy to go to the appointment and we had to reschedule for when school was out. She has become so independent and mostly adult like :).  There are still moments of being a child, but I can comfortably send her off to college after her senior year knowing she will be okay on her own.  She is an amazing woman!
