Transitional Kindergarten is Fun!

Grace had so much fun in Transitional Kindergarten.  Ms. Hermann was a fabulous teacher.  Grace as so excited to be a "big kid" going to school.  She is not a fan of getting up in the morning though since she loves to stay up late.  Almost every morning was a struggle to get her up and awake and ready for school on time.  I fear we were late often.  She loved learning all the patriotic songs.  Ms Hermann taught the children a new song each month and they performed them all for the parents at the end of the school year. It was actually very moving to see all these children from very different cultures and backgrounds singing about how much they love America.  They even learned the "Star Spangled Banner"-though not all of them really got each word right :)
