What Are We Doing Today?

The dreadful summer phrase that comes from my childrens' lips each morning. I actually lost sleep last night trying to think of what we could do today! One of our summer projects is for Justin to finish a bunch of Boy Scout merit badges. We've been working on them all week and this morning we were doing the Theater Merit Badge. Since I am the counselor, it is easy to do! One of the requirements is to learn to do stage make-up: a clown, old age, or a monster. Justin chose the clowns. He then wrote a script for Marin and Grace to perform with him in their great costumes and make-up. We had a fun morning (and into the afternoon) working with Justin. He finished the merit badge and we were all entertained! Wah-hoo!

Amber meanwhile made clothes for all the American Girl dolls so that they looked like the Wizard of Oz characters.

Now what are we doing tomorrow.....?
