Plan A, Plan B, Plan C... Nah- We'll Go with Plan D

Our original 4th of July plan was that we would be in Utah going to Stadium of Fire with all the cousins watching fireworks and seeing the Beach Boys in concert.  All Star baseball foiled Plan A.

Plan B: We were going to be driving to Utah and watching fireworks out the car windows. Baseball foiled Plan B.

Plan C: Let's go to the beach with the Halls.  We got all ready and spent 45 minutes driving around Balboa Island trying to find a place to park.  We started to head toward Huntington Beach even and gave up on that traffic jam.  Too many people foiled Plan C.

Plan D:

We went to the Halls community pool.  We played and ate all the food we had packed for the beach. After a few hours of pool fun we headed home, cleaned up and the Halls came over for a BBQ.  The food was delicious. The company was great.  Thank goodness I learned as a missionary that when Plans A-C don't work, come up with a new plan!

Karly came with us on our crazy adventure which always adds to the fun!

Justin and Sean played and worked out at the same time.  They spent a LONG time throwing the medicine ball back and forth. Their arms were sore later!

Ryan took a nap on a pool chair, played ball with the kids and had a good time relaxing.

Joy and I are always taking pictures, but we hardly ever take one with us in it!  So we had the kids take one of us together!  Happy 4th of July!
