Recital Time
Marin and Amanda in the hallway waiting for their turn to perform their tap routine in the Barclay theater last week.
"Hippy Hippy Shake" - I was so proud of Marin. She was front and center for most of the dance and did a great job! She knew the whole thing. Last year she would still look around at others to make sure she was doing it right, but this year she knew it all and performed with such confidence and a fabulous smile!
After the show... You can't really see her whole ballet costume, but it was beautiful! She looks gorgeous in purple. On of the moms from my class said she needs to wear purple everyday because she looked so good! We had fun together that night because we snuck backstage and watched a lot of the dances. Then Marin helped me with my Ballet/Tap combo class of 3-5 year olds. They adore her! After all that she performed her tap number and then did a quick change and performed her ballet piece a few dances later. She was awesome!!
Marin and her adoring fans after the show! Justin's face is because he was missing the championship Laker v. Celtics game to watch Marin. Thankfully, cousin Spencer texted him the score every few minutes and we made it into the car to hear the last 3 minutes on the radio. One more recital down...dozens and dozens to go!
