'Cuz Ya Had a Bad Day

Yesterday Amber walked out of school in tears -they had been working on a Greek play in their class which they were to present to the school, but her teacher decided that with only a few days left of school they didn't have time to do it. She had a big part and even had her costume already. Marin then says to me, "I had a bad day Mom", and Grace was crying her eyes out because she was hungry. I had just been to a rehearsal for the high school kids and they looked awful- their show is this week! (Luck for the boys they went to play at Swanson's house) Anyway, we needed a pick me up, so we went home, made milkshakes, made popcorn and sat down and watched "Anne of Green Gables" together. Soon everyone was full, happy, and laughing. Nothing like a little girl bonding with a fabulous movie and a little food!
