100 Things...


Ok- so I read Julie's blog about herself and now the one about LouLou and I have to see if I can do 100 things too. I'm sure mine won't be as funny, but here goes-

1. I should be cleaning my house right now, but I'm doing this instead.

2. You have to still read my last post, cuz there are cute pics of the kids.

3. I'm doing this while I wait for the hair dye to work.

4. I have a LOT of grey hair.

5. I blame that on Ryan. :)

6. I should probably blame it on my Grandma Ellison- she always had to dye her hair too.

7. I dye my own cuz I'm too cheap to pay someone to do it.

8. I get that from my mom (she dyes her own hair too and she is cheap :)).

9. My cute baby is having a hard time learning how to fall asleep in her crib-probably cuz she is never in it.

10. She just stopped crying- I hope she is asleep.

11. We were up 4 times last night- I have been getting up with her about once a night since she was 6 weeks old- but every once in a while we have a bad night.

12. I would totally have more kids, but I can't stand being pregnant again.

13. I HATE BEING PREGNANT.

14. My husband says I'm a hotty pregnant lady though.

15. I just watched the trailer for "Twilight".

16. I can't stop thinking about it now (thanks Julie)!

17. I love those books.

18. After book 3 I'm more in love with Jacob- I know that is near blasphemy to many!

19. I'm usually cold and the idea of sleeping next to someone cold is NOT appealing.

20. Ryan is always hot.

21. I love to sleep next to him!

22. I didn't sleep well the first few months we were married because him being there, making noise, stealing my covers, etc kept waking me up.

23. I wanted David Cook to win American Idol.

24. I am addicted to Survivor.

25. I didn't start watching it regularly until season 3 or 4.

26. I can't wait for "So You Think You Can Dance".

27. I love to choreograph.

28. I am having more fun choreographing the junior high kids this year than the high school kids.

29. I usually feel the opposite.

30. I went to Disneyland with just Justin on Thursday night.

31. We had lots of fun.

32. I have neat kids and I really like being with them.

33. Sometimes they do drive me crazy (mostly when whining and/or not cleaning up).

34. I love to read!

35. I am fascinated with the Revolutionary War time period.

36. I am currently reading "John Adams"- (another Rev. War figure)

37. I have read 2 biographies about Benjamin Franklin.

38. My Ben's name was decided upon and then I turned on the Today Show and saw a man being interviewed about his latest book on Ben Franklin. I figured it was a sign.

39. I hope my Benjamin is as clever as Ben Franklin.

40. Both my boys have the same first name as the man who won the British Open the year they were born. (Justin Leonard and Ben Curtis)

41. Marin is the name of the wife of William Wallace (Braveheart)

42. I hate the scene when she dies.

43. I have 3 baseball games to go to today- I also went to one last night.

44. I love the Angels.

45. I refuse to call them the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim! That is stupid!!! It's like saying the Milwaukee Packers of Green Bay.

46. I will miss watching Brett Favre play.

47. I cheer for the Chargers! (Irvine and San Diego)

48. I have always loved the Dallas Cowboys.

49. I wanted to be the quarterback for the Cowboys when I was little.

50. I want to go to the Oscars.

51. I want to be in movies.

52. I saw Narnia yesterday and now have a crush on Ben Barnes- Amber does too!

53. I can't wait to see Indiana Jones.

54. I am glad Grace is a girl because I was not about to name a boy Padraig (he won the British Open last year).


55. I watch golf. Blame that on Ryan, but I like it!


56. I watch ESPN.


57. I even watch the NFL network, but I draw the line at watching the combines.


58. I love musicals- watching them, singing along, being in them, choreographing them.

59. My 2 favorites show I've ever been in are Camelot and Savior of the World.

60. I like Wendy's fast food best. #1 combo with a Frosty.

61. Taco Bell and In and Out are probably second best.

62. I am dying to go to Dubrovnik, and Sarajevo.

63. I miss Croatia and Serbia.

64. I wish I had more chances to speak in Croatian/Serbian.

65. I can say hello and/or good day in 12 languages.

66. I recently was "found" by a dear friend that I taught on my mission. I was so excited to hear from her after at least 10 years.

67. I am thankful for the Internet that helps me stay connected and helps us find people we've lost touch with.

68. This is the third time I've been online to try and finish this list!

69. I love the Sabbath Day.

70. Youth sports sort of rules our lives and I am so glad to have a day that can't be touched! Our family needs it!

71. I love going to Sunday dinner at my Mom and Dad's.

72. I want to go back to Paris.

73. I would live in London again in a heart beat- I loved it there.

74. I bought my girls the Anne of Green Gables DVD set this week- they have watched all 3 already- I love how Anne talks- Amber sometimes speaks that way! It is hilarious.

75. The first time I met my husband I thought he was cute.

76. The second time I saw him I thought he was cute even though I was sitting next to my boyfriend at the time.

77. The third time I saw him I thought he was one of the most boring people ever.

78. The fourth time I saw him was 2 years later- I held his hand and thought he was cute.

79. I still think he is a hotty!

80. I love carmel apples with peanuts from Disneyland.

81. I get choked up at shows and parades at Disneyland and California Adventure when I see children in awe of what they are seeing.

82. My brain is full of Disney trivia.

83. I love the colors red, white and blue.

84. I also love yellow.

85. I get choked up listening/singing patriotic songs. (like when we sang America the Beautiful at church today)

86. I used to have a poster of Rob Lowe tucked in the canopy of my bed so I could look at it when I layed down.

87. One day I caught my mom laying on my bed looking at it!

88. My favorite book as a kid was "Little Women". I also loved the 3 Investigators books, Black Stallion books, The Outsiders and Encyclopedia Brown.

89. I would love to go to a ball and wear a crown.

90. I love to garden.

91. My favorite flowers are roses, gardenias and plumeria.

92. I love swimming and don't get to do it enough because there are always kids hanging on me in the pool.

93. My husband doesn't really like Italian food, but I do- I could eat it almost everyday.

94. I also love bread, fish and soup- none of which he really likes.

95. My favorite drinks are Shirley Temples, A&W Root Beer and Welch's Grape Soda.

96. I enjoy cross-stitch but haven't been able to do it in a while because I keep getting carpel tunnel or tendinitis- I'm not sure which.

97. I also like to scrapbook.

98. I love to read blogs from my family and friends- I have not yet become a "stocker" like Marilee though.

99. I hate my nose- I am glad none of my children got it.
