Sharing Day
Today Marin got to share Grace for Show ane Tell at school. She said a few things about her sister and then the other children in her class were allowed to ask questions. There were lots of 1st grade type questions...What does she like to do? Where does she sleep? When was she born? What hospital was she born in? Do you like to play with her? etc, etc, etc.
As we were winding down one child asked- "Where does the baby come out?'' I paused and before I could think up an answer another child said, "The baby is in the mommy's stomach." There was another pause and then next question was, "How does the baby get in your stomach?" Ummmm......I turned to the teacher, "Mrs. Garner?" She smiled, "Boy and girls we have other peopole who still need to share. Let's thank Mrs. Miller for coming."
Wow- I wonder if anyone will remember their question for when they get home! :)

Sooo very funny! I bet you never thought you would open up that can of worms. I also bet there are a whole bunch of moms and dads out there wondering why their children are all of a sudden asking those questions!
Hee! Think how funny it would have been to tell them point blank "it came out my vagina." Seriously! Imagine the conversations at home.
