Charger Football- Clinic Blue

An historic year for Ben's team- and the Irvine Chargers. 4 Irvine teams went all the way to the Super Bowl this year.  Ben's team was one of them.  They had a rough start to the season, but swept through the remaining games often trying not to score for the whole 4th quarter (sometimes even the whole 2nd half).  Ben did not get to play quarterback as much as he would have liked, but he moved around at Tight End, Safety and other positions.

We had fun listening to Vanu try and make up stuff to announce from the booth at home games.  We didn't have too many away games, until the playoffs. Grandma and Papa even made it to a game all the way from Texas. We lost the Super Bowl and spent most of that game amazed at the announcer who would not stop talking- seriously for the ENTIRE game non-stop! Bummer.  It was cool to make it to the big game though.
