Surprise!!!

We pulled one over on Amber and had a great time doing it!  

Step 1: Plan a party. 

 Step 2: Get Amber out of the house by asking Sis. Hillstead to get her to babysit.  

Step 3: Plan a fake party with Amber.  

Step 4: Surprise!!!

We had fun hiding and waiting... 

It worked- she was shocked!!!

Grandma helped decorate the cake and for some reason spelled Amber's name wrong.  We laughed all night about it!  Happy Birthday "Abmer"!

Meet Johnny Depp the Dog- he was named that after a fun chocolate game in which Grant needed to answer a question he didn't know and Justin jokingly said "Johnny Depp".  It was the right answer!!!  From then on every answer was Johnny Depp even if it wasn't the answer.  When the dog was opened as a present, it was decided that his name must be Johnny Depp.

We ate chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate!!! The chocolate fountain made a bunch of noise, but it was so good we couldn't get enough of it.  Dipping pretzels, marshmallows, cookies, strawberries and even chips!  Between that and all the chocolate around the party, not many people actually ate very much cake.  One parent said she could smell the sugar as we opened the front door  :).

We ate, played fun games, opened presents, did a "how well do you know Amber quiz" and spent a lot of time laughing.  What a GREAT party!
