Annie 2012

I am having so much fun doing "Annie" with Marin and Grace. What a fun show to begin with, but add on top of that getting to play both Lily St. Regis and Grace Ferrell, and the show is extra fun!

Rooster (Keith Mallos), Hannigan (Susan Lopez) and Lily (me as a blonde) in our jail bird outfits!

Marin is doing a super job juggling multiple costume changes in each show- from orphan to maid, to NYC photographer, to orphan and back again to maid. She is on dance team and the dancing really isn't much for this show, but she is having fun playing lots of different parts. Here were are in our end of the show costumes.
Grace, orphan and maid

Lily St. Regis and Cookie the orphan- Marin's hair calmed down as the show went on- it was an orphan mess when the show started! That is one of my favorite parts of this show- I don't have to spend hours doing everyone's hair!

Rooster and Lily and one of our great Annies (we have 11 different girls playing Annie which is a bit crazy!)

Grace is so cute I can hardly stand it! She is beyond excited to be in the show and has no problem pushing her way up to the front of the orphans so that she is front and center for each song. She sings the songs everywhere we go and knows every song- even the ones she is not in during the show. Opening night she was almost asleep by intermission and then got her second wind at Gala. She ate dinner and headed back into the theater to sing and dance for the next hour. I literally had to drag her away kicking and crying because she wanted to keep dancing- it was 11:30 pm! She loves it and asked me yesterday if she could be in every show that needs kids from now on....I think I'm in trouble with this one :)

Amber is not in "Annie" this time around, but came to watch us opening night and then was on court the next night so she is still at the theater with us cheering us on!

My favorite Daddy Warbucks (Ray Kerek) and our opening night Annie (Valerie Sloan & me in one of my 4 Grace costumes.
