The Discovery Science Center

Since my kids got the day off school for Lincoln's Birthday, we decided to head to the Discovery Science Center- well all the kids except Amber who felt too old to go. I think she would have had fun, but she stayed home read, played on the computer and hung out with Emily Duginger, so she made her own fun.
The new exhibit is Sesame Street's learning about the body. It was so cool! Here is Grace trying to pull the lid of Oscar's can. They had the whole area set up to look like Sesame Street, you could take pictures with Elmo, play TONS of interactive games, dance, grocery shop in Hooper's Store, and more. We had a great time and spend most of our time on Sesame Street. Grace was especially enthralled, but all the kids had fun. Justin's favorite thing was the running, wheel chairing and rowing exhibit. It was a huge work out. Ben loved the interactive games.
The three big kids all laid on the bed of nails. It does hurt a little bit, but not like you think would.
Upstairs there is a play area just for small ones. Grace had fun there climbing in a submarine, dancing and playing games with her sister.
Ben is starting to study dinosaurs in school.
A silly pic of the kids on one of the dinosaurs. We had so much fun that we decided to buy a membership for the year so we can go back as many times as we want. What a great day we had together.

Looks like fun! How sad that Amber is to that age where she can make her own fun. I guess that's what happens when you're a teenage girl huh?
