The Latest from Irvine...
Fun: We had a great weekend all around- Friday night Ryan took Marin and Ben to the school sponsored magic show. It was apparantly very good, but the best part was that Marin's name was pulled out of a hat and she got to be part of a trick! She laid on a table and closed her eyes and then the table and Marin floated about 4-5 feet off the ground! She said she didn't feel anything, but Ryan said it was very cool.
I took Amber and Justin to see my high school friend, Robert Townsend, in the national touring company production of Camelot. Robert was King Arthur when I was Queen Guenevere in high school- one of my favorite memories of high school. Robert is a knight this time around and was great. During intermission I saw another old friend, Chris Merritt in the lobby- he was also in Camelot with us. I met his wonderful wife and had a great time catching up. As it turned out, he was there to see another friend of ours, Eric Anderson, from school, who was playing Merlin in this production! His costume is such that I didn't even recognize him at first, but was so excited to see him as well. How crazy that I hadn't seen any of these guys in years and we meet up at a production of Camelot- the same show we all did together 19 years ago- gulp- I can't believe it's been that long- I don't feel any different- although I do think I'm smarter now- I hope. Anyway, it was fantastic to see them all- I got to meet Robert's awesome wife as well, as she is the understudy for all the female roles in the show. If you want to check out thier websites to get a mental pic- jillandrobert.com and eanderson.com
Saturday we went to dinner with all the football board and their spouses. What a fun night we had- good food, good company and lots of laughter. We were VERY sad to think we might be leaving the Irvine Chargers when we moved to Texas. Luckily, we'll get to keep playing with all these great families.
Sunday- Do you ever have one of those days at church when it feels like every talk and lesson is just for you? It was a great day and I felt to grateful, humble and refreshed when I left.
YUCK- Now for the other stuff...Justin ended up with a fever most of the weekend and is sitting next to me now instead of being in school- he's doing better. Marin now has the fever and is also home today. I heard from two teachers at school that the throw-up flu is going around- hopefully we'll stick with the fever and being tired thing. Lice has also been going all over the school again- I check the kids everyday and pray we don't get it! Heather what's that special shampoo?
DOUBLE YUCK- First the Chargers lost last week and then yesterday was bad and worse- the Saints and the Patriots both lost- I hate the Bears and don't really care for the Colts either...oh well....
LOOK OUT- Lastly, watch out! You may find my name in the paper soon wanted for a felony...if one more person calls me asking if I want to refinance my home I think I'm going to lose it and who knows what I'll do?!!!!!!! I used to nicely say no thank you. It has quickly deteriorated to being very short and rude and sometimes I just don't even answer the phone because I can't be sure I won't swear at the stupid telemarketer on the other line!
Well, there's the Miller wrap up!

Next the web site is. www.fairytaleshaircare.com I have never bought it, but with T-ball coming up I think I may invest. Lastly I will totally help you add the link, call me!
