I have to tell a cute thing about Amber. After school on her first day she went to Justin's new teacher and then Marin's new teacher to check on how they did their first day. She has had both of their teachers in previous years and felt the need to check and make sure all was well. Justin's teacher said that Justin seemed like a very nice boy, so he must be a nice brother- Amber said, "not at home!". Anyway, it was so cute after school when I picked her up and she said that she had talked with both their teachers and received a positive report on each which she then passed onto me in case I needed to know. What a little mommy!

A little Mother Hen. That's what being the big sister is about. When I was in pre-school mom forgot about picture day and wasn't home when it was time for me to go to school. (don't worry, we weren't left alone...it was Gemma day) Marilee, who was only 7 or 8 at the time remembered somehow and immediately went to work...choosing my outfit, doing my hair. The final result was adorable and perfect so that's what big sisters are for! Sometime you'll have to ask mom for the picture!
Ther is nothing like being a big sister! Go Amber!
I LOVE the picture Julie is talking about and remember that day in detail! The hair, clothes, overall package was quite fabulous for a 7 year olds standards I must say!! Way to go Amber!!
