Bittersweet

The first day of school- Sept. 7th! The first day was truly bittersweet for me this year. We have had so much fun this summer playing together. I was sad to see our fun come to an end. I wanted more beach days and time to go to the movies. I wanted to go to San Diego, to ice skate more, to hang out. I feel like we didn't swim in the pool enough and definitely didn't do enough yard work! It will be good to get into a routine again and to be more organized, but I have truly loved being less organized for a while. The kids are excited for school and were driving each other crazy the last few days, so I guess I'll have just have fond memories of a great summer together.

Cute picture of your THREE grade schoolers!! (Is kindergarden considered grade school?) Anyway, hope they all have a great year! Once your back into your schedule you'll love it but I know the feeling of not wanting to go back to school schedules and longing for the relaxing lazy days of summer!

I can't believe how big your kids are! Wow time does fly. Your girls are so tall and beautiful. I've totally had 'getting back into the routine' issues too. Take some time to relax! :)

What cute kids! Marin is such a big girl going to Kindergarten. Natalie asks me almost every day when she gets to start Kindergarten. I always respond by saying, "not for a while sweet pea!" I can't believe how big they all are though...before you know it you'll have teenagers!
