Spring Break Part 2

 We went to the movies on Wednesday after I taught dance and saw "Muppets Most Wanted".  A funny movie (if you like the Muppets).  We had fun and laughed a lot.

Thursday the installer guys came to put in the new flooring downsatirs so we left and went the the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.  I loved seeing all the tropical fish (my favorite).  Marin was very brave and touched a jellyfish, a stingray and a small shark.   Grace liked the penguins and the seals.  Ben and Grace liked playing on the playground outside as well where Grace got all wet.  We all loved the interactive whale computers were we learned about all kids of different whales, how big they are, where they live, what they eat and even what they sound like.  We also did a Google Earth thing on a huge screen and found our house in Irvine and our soon to be house in Highland.

On our way in we had seen a lighthouse on a hill and Ben said he had never seen one before so we walked up a hill to see it after we left the Aquarium.  As we got up the hill we realized you could see tons of stuff!  We saw the Queen mary, a Carnival cruise ship, some of the huge cranes in Long Beach Harbor, lots of sailing boats and more.  The lighthouse had pictures of what things had looked like at the park over the decades which was super cool- roller coasters, piers, places for huge outdoor concerts. It was a fun little explore.

After all our fun, we had more fun! We met Aunt Jill and Raelynn at Jill's favorite pizza place and had a yummy lunch.  Then we took a short jaunt with them to Target in search of "Frozen" costumes and toys.  We laughed, talked and thoroughly enjoyed being together. When we got home we saw our awesome new floors.. and dropped into bed super tired!
