12 Days of Christmas

On the 2nd day of Christmas I am thankful for talents...

1. Teaching dance- I love to dance and I love to teach! (and it keeps me in shape)
2. Baking- I love to make the house smell good, put smiles on the faces of my family and share them with friends.
3. Public speaking- I am so thankful that is easy for me when I know how scary it is for many people.
4. Multi-tasking- although I can overwhelm myself sometimes, I would be so sad to miss out on things if I wasn't able to juggle.
5. Singing- I love music. It plays in my head continually and I feel happy expressing it out loud.
6. Positive attitude- it's way easier to go through life happy.
7. Recognizing others talents- sometime easier to do than to appreciate your own.
8. Remembering names- I am super good at this in dance class. I try to do it outside of teaching as well, I do faces better than names outside of teaching though.
9. Teaching children- I LOVE being with children (small, middle and even teenagers). I work hard at trying to be a good teacher of music, dance, life lessons, history, the gospel. I am thankful that my efforts have been aided by God and that it is something I am not only good at, but enjoy.
10. Keeping records- I could be better, but I keep a blog, journal and scrapbooks, so there are lots of records of my great family and friends.
11. (It is hard to write out your talents, but I am being thankful for them..) Determination- to finish what I start.
12. Patience- I have to write that one because I have spent the last 30 years trying to be better at exercising patience.

(I am thankful for all the talents of my friends and family too!!!)
