Princess Zippy!!

I haven't written for a while about Miss Marin (aka Princess Zippy). She is so adorable! She has been having a hard time and thinks that she isn't smart or talented at anything. Nothing could be further from the truth! She is so talented at everything, doing great in school and hello- BEAUTIFUL on top of all that! Since the day she was born I have had a soft spot for her. I used to think she could see through into my soul because she would stare at me with those clear, blue eyes. She is my helper, my snuggler (is that a word?) and my dancer!

Princess Zippy came about because Ryan began telling her bedtime stories that he would make up. They were all about a girl named Princess Zippy and her many adventures. Ryan started adding other characters- people she really knows- a VERY favorite character is Handsome Prince Ben Swanson. Here is a pic of the two buddies at the beginnig of school this year.

I love that Marin is so fun! She loves to dance for me, play dress up and has tons of friends. Last year she was not in the girl scout troop and we had to join this year because all the girls wanted Marin in the troop! It has been lots of fun.

She is also been a great big sister. Just this week we put Grace in her room so the girls will share a room. Every morning when Gracie wakes up, Marin reads to her, talks to her and then brings her into me. How cute! I'm afraid she's not getting as much sleep as she is used to however! She even wants Grace to dress matching with her everyday- I think I may need to go and buy some clothes that match.
